Visiting Hours

Rehabilitation Wards
Visiting hours in the Rehabilitation Wards are restricted due to the rehabilitation and therapy programs in which patients participate.
Visiting hours are:
10.00am - 12.00 noon
3.00pm - 8.00pm
lf you would like a resting time without visitors, please discuss this with the nursing staff.

Palliative Care Ward
The Palliative Care Service has unrestricted visiting hours, however, preferred visiting hours are from 10.00am to 8.00pm. Consideration is requested when staff need to provide personal care or treatments to patients. lt is also requested that the number of visitors at any one time is reasonable and appropriate to the condition of the patient.

Changes afoot in Rehabilitation and Aged Services 13 Apr 2010 The Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU) has been undergoing a period of transition over the last six months. Changes to the service commenced with the appointment of our new Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), Luckman Hlambelo, to the Service, now working alongside our longstanding Clinical Co-ordinator, Deidre Craig.  more »

Interational Award for Our Palliative Care Physiotherapists 13 Apr 2010 The Palliative Care physiotherapists at Calvary Health Care Sydney are the inaugural winners of the International Palliative Care Network Poster Exhibition. The competition attracted 32 entrants from a number of countries, across all health disciplines.  more »

Keep in Mind 13 Apr 2010 The next Ecumenical Memorial Service for relatives and Friends who have suffered bereavement will be held on Tuesday 11th May at 7.30 pm. The service will be held in the Chapel of the Resurrection which is located in the grounds of Calvary.  more »
