Warrina Dementia Day Care Service
Warrina is part of the Calvary Rehabilitation and Geriatric Service (CRAGS) based at Calvary Hospital. Warrina is a day respite service for residents who have a diagnosis of moderate to advanced dementia living within the St George area. The service is located at 9 St Georges Road, Bexley and operates between 8.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Saturday.

Warrina aims to enhance the quality of life of people with dementia and their carers by providing community support, education and respite in order to prevent
premature admission into an aged care facility.
Warrina endeavours to introduce therapeutic activities to stimulate client activity in a culturally and linguistically appropriate environment.
Our team at Warrina includes:
- Registered Nurse
- Occupational Therapist
- Diversional Therapist
- Personal Care Assistants
- Bus Drivers
- Access to other multidisciplinary professionals as required.
Staff at Warrina speak many different languages. Every effort will be made to book clients in on the same day as a staff member who can also speak the same language in order to best accommodate the client's needs.
